SDI PROGRAMMES

SDI draws its strength not from officers and structures, but from the relationship among the people. The real strength to overcome poverty and in-equality lies in the dynamism of groups where people support one another. Through education, training and joint efforts towards self-reliance, individual is expected to find a place in a society that respects his/her human dignity. Active non-violence is the strongest energy to promote human progress, social peace and harmony.


SDI actually wants to make friendship nationally. It also implements volunteer exchange program with partner organizations. SDI believes that all people are capable to live together with mutual respect and understanding. To achieve the desired objective, SDI has undertaken integrated development approach through the following program:


  • Non-formal basic education & skill training
  • Community health development program
  • Women right and empowerment program
  • SRHR increase awareness and technical training
  • Pregnant mother and child health awareness program
  • Foster parent training for children with disabilities
  • Poverty alleviation through creating self-employment opportunity

  • Water and Sanitation (WATSAN) program

  • Adolescents deprived of healthy children through music to enhance character development
